As I was watching Lex Fridman (popular MIT grad podcaster) interview Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI) last week on Youtube... i was intrigued by how Sam talked a bit about all the cool appllications that were being built on top of GPT-4 at the moment. And how these other use cases were gonna bring even far more disruption and transformation in the near future.. than what we have already seen with ChatGPT. So i had a think about this.. and I started to understand more and more what he meant. One example that I came up with was learning languages. Today we, for the most part, use language teachers. I spent hundreds of hours over my life learning 6 different languages so its something i understand well. And the reality is... that an AI bot will at some point do pretty much everything that a human language teacher does better than a human does it. But without any of the limitations that comes with a human.
