🛳️ What started as a simple idea - machining a ship - quickly turned into something far more challenging. Complex geometry, extremely fragile features, and very little room for error made this a proper test from start to finish. Credit to Jon Shortt for delivering an outstanding result. A few numbers behind it: 🔹 200 machining hours 🔹 943 toolpaths 🔹 26.5 million lines of NC code (~1GB) 🔹 ~300GB of data processed 🔹 10 staged models to protect delicate features All programmed in hyperMILL and machined on a Mazak Variaxis i700 Neo.
