Today, I’m logging into Teams for the last time. I’m checking Outlook for the last time. 10 years of the 8–5 (and well beyond) grind of billing hours, back to back (to back to back to back) client calls, red eye flights across North America, living out of carry ons, late night decks, early morning QBRs, quarter end pushes, and the kind of calendar Tetris only a CSM truly understands, comes to a close today. Over the years, this career has taken me places I never expected. From interning with ESPN and working alongside Tim Tebow on SEC Nation, to traveling to 10 different states and checking dozens of NHL and NBA arenas off my bucket list, to navigating the wild, uncertain, fully remote COVID effect, to building my love for client service and customer success work at my encore stop with Sitecore. I am so deeply thankful for the leaders who took a chance on me, the teammates who poured into me, the clients who trusted me, and the seasons that stretched me. Today, I accepted a new role. One that requires standing for 12+ hours a day, preparing approximately 47 gourmet meals (that may or may not get eaten), negotiating high stakes conflicts over the “right” color cup, coordinating logistics for three very different personalities, operating on limited sleep, and delivering 24/7 emotional intelligence. My new bosses are demanding. They lack experience. Their communication skills are… developing. But then again, they’re 3 years old, 1.5 years old, and 6 months old 🙂 My little trio needs their mom present, focused, and all in, and what a gift it is to be able to make that my reality right now. What’s next for me, professionally? I’m building a more flexible chapter, taking on select part time and project based work while prioritizing my #1 job: being Colton’s, Riley’s, and Avery’s mom. If you or someone in your network needs support in: • People Operations • Customer Experience / Customer Success • Administrative & operational support • Process building and client management I’d love to connect and explore how I can help. Here’s to flexible hours, meaningful work, and redefining success in a season that matters most. All Glory to God 💛
