As our #KW29 cohort gathered for Module 6, they reached a significant point in their Executive MBA journey, the last time they would come together in Vallendar before continuing their first year on the global stage in Chicago. During the module, students explored two essential dimensions of business leadership: With Prof. Christian Andres, they examined the financial decisions that shape organizations, from investment choices and capital structures to the creation of long-term value. Through practical applications and real-world examples, the course provided valuable tools for navigating complex financial environments. At the same time, Prof. Jan Albert Van Mieghem challenged students to look at organizations through an operational lens. His course highlighted how thoughtful process design and execution can drive performance, adaptability, and sustainable competitive advantage. Of course, Module 6 was about more than frameworks and concepts. Shared experiences, engaging discussions, and a healthy dose of friendly competition during the House Game further strengthened the bonds within the cohort. Next stop: Chicago, where our KW29 students will share the lecture hall with peers from the #KelloggGlobalNetwork. We look forward to seeing our students connect with fellow leaders from around the world, broaden their perspectives, and continue their Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA journey on a truly global stage. #KelloggWHUforyou #KelloggLeader #HighImpactLowEgo #ExecutiveMBA #Vallendar
