What’s a great way to get ready for RSA Conference 2025? Spend time with Bruce Schneier’s graduate students at Harvard University. :) I was honored to once again join this incredible class, opening up a conversation about how we, as a growing field of security superheroes, can better support nonprofits in staying secure. But doing so means breaking out of our traditional security lens. When we do, we spark new ideas and create real, lasting impact. Wanting to leave them with something to think about, I closed the class with a reminder: Security isn’t just a job. We don’t just work in security. We live in the ripple effects of its successes and failures. Let’s keep asking the hard questions, challenging assumptions, and finding better ways to protect the missions that matter most. Heading to RSA and want to hear more about Sightline Security’s mission—or how to step up for the nonprofit you love?
