A few days ago I spoke at the Tech.Emotion Summit at Triennale Milano, one of the most intentionally curated gatherings I have attended in years. The theme was Agility: Surfing the Unknown. A few hundred CEOs, founders, investors, media and tech leaders from across Europe and beyond, all asked to admit collectively that they are navigating uncertainty. My keynote was called Born Surfing: Curiosity, Uncertainty, Humanity in the Age of AI. I talked about agility, reinvention, and what AI still cannot tell you. With AI as my collaborator I have built the foundation of a new wellness and lifestyle intelligence platform and filed multiple provisional patents in biological thermal management systems. But AI still could not tell me which gap was worth caring about. That part was still mine. I left with new thinking, new friendships, and a watercolor of Lake Como painted on the spot by Dr. Max Frieder, Ed.D . and given to each of us while we waited for the boat back. With gratitude to CEO and Founder of Emotion Network, Mattia Mor, and Angelo Moratti and all the Co-Founders: Gianluca D'Agostino, Karin Fischer, Massimo Redaelli, Alec Ross, Claude Finckenberg, Thomas Schneider, and Board Members, and Advisory Board Members of Emotion Network including Nezahat Gultekin, André Noël Chaker, Caryl Stern, Simon Piggott, and Lital Dagan for building something worth coming to. To the team who made everything run beautifully: Valentina Di Leo, Afra De Santi, and Eleonora Savini. And to every leader who brought their full self to the stage and to the summit including Dr Max Frieder, Caryl Stern, Samantha Power, David Lane, Alec Ross, Ramin Arani, Thomas Benski, Dan Gardner, Frederic Court, Karin Fischer, Andrea De Micheli, Martina Monterisi, Francesca Failoni, Arianna Fontana, Mario Monti, Angelo Moratti, Navin Thukkaram , Nino Tronchetti Provera, James Vincent, Iginio Straffi, Riccardo Stefanelli, Gianfranco Gianangeli, Hans-Peter Siefen, Sascha Karstaedt, Giacomo Filippo Catalano, Yasmine Mahmoudieh, Lorenzo Di Cataldo, Massimo Secco d'Aragona, Andrea Filippetti. And to Nezahat Gultekin, whose idea this was from the start, and to all the remarkable people I met at TechEmotion.com. I am deeply grateful. https://lnkd.in/eGtzDfQX
