A ‘Hendrik Bagh’ from Eisenach (c1702-1761) was the manager of the highly respected Heeren Logement in Leiden from 1746 until his death in 1761. See Vincent van Zuilen’s interesting article in the Jaarboek De Achttiende Eeuw (2017), pp. 67-78. Might Hendrik Bagh’s original name be Heinrich Bach? He was born in Eisenach, where Johann Sebastian was also born. Are the two men possibly related?
