What a milestone! 🎉 Last Friday, we celebrated a big step forward for KEENFINITY at our Ovar plant in Portugal: the official inauguration of our new building extension! This strategic investment expands our size, scope, and skills to unlock future growth. The new production area adds 3,800 m² to our footprint – roughly the size of 14 tennis courts – giving us plenty of space to accelerate innovation and scale operations. With this new infrastructure we aim to double our sales volume in the next five years, create highly skilled jobs, and strengthen our role as a key innovation hub in Europe. Highlights of an unforgettable day: ✅ Portugal’s Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, Ovar’s Mayor Domingos Silva and the Secretary of State for the Economy João Rui Ferreira joined us, underlining the plant’s importance for regional development and R&D. ✅ The Innovation Program with Universidade do Porto and INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory concluded with a showcase of how collaboration accelerates technology and economic growth. We’re not just growing in size – we’re fortifying our role as a trusted innovation partner for our customers, moving from world-class EMS to Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM).
