#MOTORS Precision and steering accuracy are essential for truck steering systems. This makes it all the more important that the systems are checked in advance using test benches. Brusatori Srl (a member of the KEB Group) supplies the motors that are ideal for exactly these applications. Two high-torque motors have already been used on a test bench to simulate the load on the power steering system and provide highly precise data on the behaviour of the unit under test. The advantage offered by these motors is that the significant reduction in cogging torque enables a smoother shaft movement and a very precise measurement of the required values.
