#KBR team members greeted the Artemis II crew after the spacecraft’s successful splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.   KBR supported the critical post-recovery phase, executing carefully choreographed procedures and assisting astronauts once they boarded the U.S. Navy recovery ship, USS John P. Murtha.   Our experts from NASA’s JSC Mission Control Center also played a key role during the descent, serving as flight controllers assisting the astronauts and commanding vehicle systems through the final phase of their return to Earth.   KBR supported all phases of the mission, including Space Launch System engineering, astronaut training and simulations, real-time mission operations, spacecraft monitoring and astronaut health and recovery.
