This week, we're excited to introduce Eric Wooten, Manufacturing Associate II from our Boulder facility! For the past year and a half, Eric has been part of KBI's Small Scale Manufacturing team, supporting upstream fermentation and downstream purification processes. What motivates him most is knowing the work he does today has the potential to improve someone's life tomorrow. One moment has stayed with Eric since joining KBI. After completing the final drug substance bottling, he paused to look at the finished bottles before they moved on to the next step. In that moment, he thought that each one represented more than the end of a manufacturing process – it was part of a journey that could one day improve someone's life. It's a perspective that continues to inspire the care and purpose he brings to his work every day. Just as meaningful to Eric is the team he gets to share that work with. He says his favorite part of KBI is being part of a team that works well together, supports one another, and enjoys what they do every day. When he's not working, Eric is busy making memories with his family. His newest adventure is life with his new baby girl, and he happily spends most of his free time watching her grow. He also enjoys golfing and catching sporting events when he has a chance.
