After five years driving voestalpine HPM‘s Food & Beverage strategy and 3 years pushing our Medical Technology business forward, I decided earlier this year to step down and let others step up to the plate as the HPM division transforms and the roles change. Markus Bauer (Food & Beverage) and Dominik Baumann (Medical) have had their hands on the reigns for a good few months now, and will continue taking these segments to new heights together with their teams. I‘ve been taking some time off to recharge and regroup, and get myself ready for whatever adventure is coming next. It’s been almost 18 years since I returned to voestalpine after shorter stints in technical translation and in aerospace, and I take many happy and proud memories with me from my time in Kapfenberg and Vienna and my teams around the world. Thanks to all of my colleagues for the hard work and support over the years. Now it’s time to move on. Those of you who know me well (or have seen my diverse collection of degrees and job titles) know that my next step could go in a number of very different directions. This much to say: I‘m open to new opportunities, happy to hear "hey, have you ever thought about…", and curious to hear what you all think I’m capable of.
