Yes, it was embarrassing when my wake-up alarm went off at 8:30 am this Sunday - especially in the company of the many many energetic, unstoppable women who had shown up for the SUGAR x FRC Mumbai Women's Day run. But given how frenetic the days leading up to the event was, I could forgive myself a little. A random germ of an idea from the never-out-of-energy-or-ideas Diksha - snowballed into a full and fulfilling cultural moment where we showed up... For the women whose dreams inspire us. For the women whose commitment to making those dreams come true - move us. Heartfelt thanks for everyone - runners and volunteers - who showed up to be a part of this. The brand Vineeta and I started 11 years ago may sell dewy foundation today and market peptide lipsticks tomorrow - but whenever you’re out there chasing your dreams and pushing the limits of your comfort zone - we will be always there by the sidelines cheering you.
