I’ve founded a company. … because I want to fight fatty liver disease. As a doctor and clinical researcher, I’ve seen many patients with end-stage liver disease. You don’t need to see that many before getting an urgent need to do something about it. So that’s what me and my colleagues, Maja and Aleksander, did. We developed an algorithm that detects advanced liver disease before it’s too late.  But instead of just writing about it in scientific journals, we wanted to do something different. In 2020, we teamed up with Taus from People Ventures, and last year we founded a company, LT Health, with the aim of changing the lives of patients with fatty liver disease. This is a huge turning point for me, now suddenly becoming an entrepreneur — something I would never have done five years ago.
