Restaurant Manager and Co-Owner of Central Jakarta Steakhouse - La Posta. Great steaks and warm welcomes are my thing.

Aldy recently decided it was time to spread his wings. He had been with us for almost three years. He will probably end up on a cruise ship as most of our long time staff do, but when he arrived to La Posta all those years ago, he definitely wasn’t ready for a trip around the world. When Aldy started at La Posta he had only worked in coffee shops and was still shy with his English, but he was as keen to learn. This is already a huge win in La Posta. The last six months is when he really relaxed into the role, chatting away with guests, asking people how they’d found us or what they enjoyed the most. Apart from that, his Spanish sky rocketed and he finally felt comfortable with Chef Pancho speaking in Spanish to him! This does not come lightly in La Posta and takes patience and perseverance to learn, not just the basics but to get accustomed to a strong Argentine accent. We wish him loads of luck on his next adventure!
