Last Friday marked the successful conclusion of Monash University's Industry Mentoring Program for postgraduate IT students as their last year of Masters drew to a close. Our Deloitte team had the privilege of guiding a group of talented students as they tackled their final year projects, addressing real-world problems and bringing their ideas to life. As industry mentors, we shared our knowledge, industry best practices, and insights, while coaching, questioning, and challenging the students. It was an incredible learning experience, fostering relationships and witnessing their impressive growth as their creations took shape. A big thank you to Monash University for providing this platform to bridge the gap between students and industry. We learned as much from the students as they did from us! Special shout out to Sameera Patterson and Syin Tan for helping to organise this!
