A few minutes ago, I was prompted by my wonderful #HowToSpeakCancer family to create something we’ve been talking about for a while. So I did. 🤍 I’ve just opened the How to Speak Cancer (HtSC) group – a space for the people behind the book, around the book, and on the journey with it. This group is for the How to Speak Cancer family and for everyone who feels connected to this project – whether you are a cancer patient, caregiver, healthcare professional, medical communicator, translator, publisher, sponsor, or simply someone who believes that medical language should be accessible to all. It is a place to share the journey of the book, the translation process, the thinking behind the words, and the values that shape this work. A place for understanding, connection, and learning – not for medical advice, but for making sense of medical language together. If you feel drawn to this mission, you already belong. I’m grateful for this community, for the trust, and for everyone walking this path with me.
