Jess was the best of us. She was an amazing friend to so so many, an office mate who literally helped paint the wall pink, the best criminal defense lawyer I’ve ever done a trial with, someone who never bragged no matter how beautiful and accomplished she was, a person who didn’t gossip about other people and yet always let you know she had your back to the core. She was devoted to her indigent clients and our community. She was a badass. But above all else, Jess was a mom to the three children who she loved more than anything on this planet...a fact that she not only stated but that her actions always showed. If you’re in a position to give personally or share with somebody who can then please consider contributing to her children and her legacy.
