Wrapping up my first week as an Area Manager Intern at Amazon TPA1, and what a week it has been! I had the opportunity to spend time learning different parts of the operation and seeing firsthand how much teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving go into keeping everything running smoothly. Throughout the week, I rotated through several departments, including Inbound Receive, Pick, Stow, Count, AFE, Singles, Smart Pack, Ship Dock, and Transship. I also had the chance to shadow indirect roles and my Area Manager to better understand how leadership supports daily operations. What stood out to me the most was seeing how every role contributes to the customer experience and how much collaboration happens behind the scenes. There is so much more that goes into fulfillment operations than I ever realized. I’m grateful for everyone who took the time to answer my questions, share their experiences, and help me learn throughout the week. Excited to continue growing, taking on new challenges, and learning from such a talented team.
