When I interviewed Caleb Franklin, we had to pause because one of his students was hanging out in the room and didn't want to leave. That tells you a lot of what you need to know about Mr. Franklin. He told me he struggles to take days off because the emails start immediately: 'Where are you, Mr. Franklin?' For kids who don't have consistency anywhere else, he's the constant.
