🎉 I cannot believe it: "IN DATA WE TRUST?" is one of the winners of the German hackathon #wirfürschule ! 🎊 During the last weeks the team you see below (Julia Claire Priess-Buchheit Nina Heuß Teena Hassan Katharina Kouniou Marie Alavi Katharina Weitz) developed a tool to extend the existing learning space of the #EUvsVirus hackathon #trustinscience (Julia Jorim Rademaker Hyun-Jin Lee Marco Fortunato) with the help of an additional module for data competence and to support it with a technical solution idea. For this purpose we used the story of #trustinscience in #wirfürschule hackathon, we programmed a prototype for interaction with live data, wrote in a Google Colab notebook using the Python language and designed questions for a quiz. The tool enables students to examine data sets, observe the relationships between different variables and assess the quality of the data.
