WIRE 2026 💫 A truly multifaceted experience. Every two years, Düsseldorf becomes the meeting point for the wire and Tube - Leading International Trade Fairs, bringing together thousands of visitors and more than 1,000 exhibitors from around the world. WIRE is all about innovation, exchange, and shaping the future of our industry. And right in the middle of it: us, Aurubis 💙 With our 80 sqm booth, we were proud to be there again this year. This time, everything was brought together under one clear theme: Tomorrow Metals 🌎 Tomorrow Metals reflects how we see the future of metals: 🔹more responsible, 🔹more sustainable, 🔹and more forward-looking. It brings together topics like circularity, environmental impact, responsibility, and decarbonization into one clear direction - #TomorrowMetals 💫. And that’s exactly what we wanted people to feel when they visited our booth. One of the highlights was our #showcase, which didn’t just present our low-carbon copper products, but also explained our “Closing-The-Loop” approach and made our whole business model more tangible. A big thank you to Sarah Hesse, who put so much thought and care into the Look&Feel of the booth 🫰🏼 💡But the fair wasn’t just about our booth and products: ✨ For the first time, we hosted a Women4Metals Walk - a guided tour across the exhibition with stops at Aurubis, GMH Gruppe, Berkenhoff GmbH (bedra), HPW Metallwerk GmbH, Lamifil nv and FUHR Rolling Mills with our guide Leona Wiggenhagen 👏🏻 Around 30 participants joined, gaining insights into different companies, their products, and how each of them brings the Women4Metals initiative to life. The feedback was incredibly positive: 🫶🏻 inspiring, warm, and full of energy. ✨ Right after that, we continued with our customer event #Cu2Night – a little wordplay combining Cu (#copper) and “See you tonight” 🤗. With around 70 guests, we spent a great evening together at a fantastic location in Düsseldorf – with good food, drinks, and meaningful conversations. A special highlight was a short #fireside chat on sustainability and the future of our industry with Ladji Tikana - thank you for being with us! All in all, a great start to WIRE 2026 – and there are still a few days to go!
