Today was my first-ever direct report’s last day working with me. Her name is Katie Boyle , and we were sometimes referred to as “Katie Squared”! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about being a manager, but she made the experience so rewarding that I’d happily do it all over again. I really love teaching people and being taught by them, too. There’s something so special about learning from each other when you’re open to it. What a day. My heart is a little heavy, but mostly just so full of gratitude. Thank you, Katie, for everything.
