In my HR Assistenz training, I recently brought up a few topics around inclusion in the workplace to discuss with my fellow participants: 🔅 what would it look like if people who use wheelchairs worked as sales assistants in a sports store 🔅 how fair is it to label single mothers as “less reliable employees” based on past negative experiences Even though we have principles and legal frameworks, real-life attitudes often tell a more complicated story. These discussions made me reflect on something important: One of the reasons I strongly connect with the spirit of Caritas Wien is its mindset that problems are meant to be solved and not just to be labelled as problems. I deeply believe that real problems are signals and the strongest drivers of innovation. That’s also why one sentence from the recent video really stood out to me: “… daß es hier nicht um Probleme geht, sondern um Lösungen.” (… it is not about problems but about solutions) It said exactly what I was thinking. It must have been a wonderful event! 🙂 👏 #CaritasWien #innovation #inclusion #problemstobesolved
