What a week in Copenhagen. As 3daysofdesign comes to a close, Kasthall and Vaarnii would like to thank everyone who visited the Vaarnii & Kasthall Café at Den Frie Udstillingsbygning. Despite some dramatic weather along the way, the past few days were filled with inspiring meetings and a fantastic response to both the exhibition and the breakfast chats. It was a pleasure to welcome so many visitors and to see such engagement around topics including expertise, focus, longevity, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. A special thank you to Jay Osgerby, Philippe Malouin, Edward Barber, and Omar Nobil for sharing their perspectives, and to Antti Hirvonen and Mirkku Kullberg for leading the talks throughout the week. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to experience Vaarnii’s pine furniture alongside Kasthall’s rugs as part of the DESIGN/DIALOGUE exhibition curated by Ark Journal.
