Aashish Samuel, a final-year Biomedical Engineering student, proudly represented India at the internationally acclaimed MIT Hacking Medicine GrandHack hosted at the iconic MIT Media Lab, United States . Competing alongside top innovators from around the world, he contributed to solving critical healthcare challenges through collaboration and cutting-edge technology. His project, “Recovery Buddy,” a child-friendly AI assistant for post-surgery rehabilitation, leveraged advanced computer vision to enable real-time monitoring and support. As the software lead, he played a vital role in building and testing the solution, ensuring accuracy, usability, and real-world impact.
