Last week, we brought together all 90 Plastic Fischer employees from across India, Indonesia, and Germany for our very first company-wide Townhall Meeting. It was also the first time that we saw how many people we actually are! It was a chance to align on our mission, vision, and 2030 goals, share updates across departments, and — most importantly — celebrate the people who make our work possible. One of the highlights (according to my personal opinion and the filled feedback forms) was watching this video together for the first time. It’s a tribute to our entire team, especially our ground staff — the frontline heroes who collect, sort, and process thousands of kilograms of plastic waste every week, stopping it before it reaches the ocean. From our engineers designing TrashBooms, to partnerships bringing in support, to marketing amplifying our message, to project managers keeping operations running — and the ground staff making it all real on the ground and in our MRFs — this is what our organisation is about: Teamwork. The Mentimeter Session also showed some great results when we asked all of the staff what they like about their work: - Salaries on time - The working atmosphere, especially the team - That they contribute to a cleaner hometown I am happy to get to work with these people and towards this mission every day.
