The future of top noche consulting in the age of AI is being rewritten—right now. AI, Agentic AI, new data-driven business models, the use of decision inteligence & decision automation and all other types of fast evolving technology innovation are fundamentally changing how value is created from consultants for clients. Whilst my long-standing colleague and good friend Klaus Ballas and I are writing our book: “True Consulting – No Bullshit” – A look behind the curtain and into the future! attempting to capture on paper 30 years of experience in senior management roles at leading consultancy firms, as well as successful collaboration with clients and colleagues, a number of key questions have arisen. We would like to seek external input on these – essentially an ‘outside-in’ perspective from the client’s side (CIO/CDO): 📶 How will the relationship between clients and consultants evolve in the age of artificial intelligence and constant, rapid change? 📶 What skills must consultants possess in order to continue building genuine partnerships and making a measurable contribution to client success in the future? 📶 How will the criteria for selecting a preferred consulting partner change in the future? Actually more than 20 highly respected CIOs and CDOs have agreed to share their perspectives on these and other questions!
