Udało się! Z ogromną radością dzielę się wiadomością, że obroniłam swoją pracę inżynierską pt. „Pawilon obserwacji lotniczej przy lotnisku w Nowym Targu” na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Krakowskiej im. Tadeusza Kościuszki. Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki Temat był niezwykle wymagający, ale też niesamowicie inspirujący. Poniżej dzielę się fragmentami mojej pracy. A to kilka słów o projekcie: Tematem pracy jest koncepcja pawilonu obserwacji lotniczej, zlokalizowanego przy lotnisku w Nowym Targu. Głównym celem było stworzenie przestrzeni, która uzupełni brakującą infrastrukturę, integrując odwiedzających z otoczeniem. Budynek łączy funkcje restauracyjne, wystawowe i szkoleniowe, oferując miejsce zatrzymania z widokiem na trawiaste pole wzlotów, ruch szybowców, panoramę Tatr oraz Bór nad Czerwonem. Inspiracją do formy obiektu stała się dynamika związana z lotnictwem. Bryła ukształtowana na planie wycinka elipsy pozwala na horyzontalne wpisanie się w teren bez tworzenia dominant. Łukowy kształt kieruje przeszkloną fasadę na południe. Kompozycja elewacji opiera się na trzech pasach: szkła, naturalnego drewna nawiązującego do tradycji Podhala oraz betonu. Projekt łączy w sobie architekturę fenomenologiczną z zasadami zrównoważonego projektowania. .................... I did it! 🎓 I am absolutely thrilled to share the news that I have defended my engineering thesis titled "Aviation Observation Pavilion at the Nowy Targ Airport" at the Faculty of Architecture of the Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology. The topic was extremely demanding, but also incredibly inspiring. Below, I am sharing a few excerpts from my work. Here are a few words about the project: The subject of the thesis is the concept of an aviation observation pavilion located at the airport in Nowy Targ. The main goal was to create a space that would complement the missing infrastructure while integrating visitors with the surroundings. The building combines restaurant, exhibition, and training functions, offering a place to pause and enjoy the view of the grass airfield, glider traffic, the Tatra Mountains panorama, and the Bór nad Czerwonem nature reserve. The inspiration for the building's form was the dynamics associated with aviation. The volume, shaped on the plan of an elliptical section, allows it to blend horizontally into the landscape without creating a dominant structure. The arched shape directs the glazed facade towards the south. The composition of the facade is based on three bands: glass, natural wood referencing the Podhale tradition, and concrete.
