📢 New Publication Alert! I’m thrilled to share that our latest research on "Involvement of Eosinophil-Driven Intestinal Immune Activation in Different Irritable Bowel Syndrome Subtypes and in the Response to a FODMAP Lowering Diet: A Post Hoc Analysis of the Randomized Controlled DOMINO Trial." has been published in Gastroenterology. https://lnkd.in/eNZEGKQf In this study, we explored how eosinophil-driven intestinal immune activation varies across IBS subtypes and how it relates to patient responses to pharmacologic or dietary treatment. 🔍 Our findings contribute to a deeper understanding of immune processes in IBS and may bring us a step closer to more personalized treatment strategies for IBS. Huge thanks to all collaborators for making this work possible! 🙌 Lukas B., Matthias Ceulemans, Joran T., Cynthia Reulens, Bjorn Gehesquière, Mauro D'Amato, Michael Jones, Florencia Carbone, Arnau Vich Vila, Jeroen Raes, Marie Carlson, Lujain Maasfeh, Lena Öhman, Magnus Simrén, Tim Vanuytsel, Jan Tack and Karen Van den Houte #IBS #GIHealth #FODMAP #NutritionScience #Gastroenterology #Research #ClinicalTrials
