How MCB Works? MCB stands for Miniature Circuit Breaker. It is a safety device used in electrical systems to protect circuits from: Overload Short Circuit How it works: 1. During Overload When too much current flows in the circuit, the bimetallic strip inside the MCB gets heated and bends. This bending trips the MCB and cuts off the power supply. 2. During Short Circuit When a sudden high current flows, the magnetic coil inside the MCB reacts instantly. It trips the MCB immediately and protects the wiring and equipment. Why MCB is Important Protects wiring Prevents electrical damage Reduces fire risk Improves safety in homes, offices, and industries Simple Meaning MCB automatically switches OFF the circuit when current becomes unsafe. Electrical safety starts with basic protection. #MCB #ElectricalSafety #CircuitBreaker #ElectricalEngineering #FacilityManagement #ElectricalMaintenance #SafetyFirst
