Prof Sir Konstantin Sergeevich Novoselov, #NobelLaureate in Physics (2010) (along with Sir Andre Geim from the University of Manchester) for his pioneering work on graphene, called on me today at Technology Bhawan. Prof Kostya is Professor at the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials (I-FIM), National University of Singapore. We discussed the growing importance of advanced materials and opportunities for strengthening scientific collaboration in areas such as 2D materials, AI for material discovery and establishing joint center of excellence between India & Singapore.
