Australia's smallest piling rig is playing a big role beneath District Living in Docklands.   Micropiling is strengthening the existing structure from below while work takes place within a constrained, live environment. With limited access, low head heights and operational facilities surrounding the work zone, conventional piling wasn't suited to the conditions on site.   Delivered in partnership with Keller, the solution uses specialist rigs and tooling to install micropiles beneath the existing building, increasing its load capacity while minimising disruption to ongoing operations. Each pile is drilled, reinforced and grouted to safely transfer loads into the ground.   While largely hidden from view, these works play an important role in preparing the existing structure for what's next on the project.
