A landmark project, now part of the neighbourhood. The official opening of WeAreLiving Preston brought together the people, partners and stakeholders behind Kapitol's largest build-to-rent project delivered to date. The ceremony was formally opened by The Hon. Sonya Kilkenny MP, Minister for Planning, alongside representatives from Barings Real Estate and Aware Super, recognising the project's contribution to Melbourne's growing build-to-rent sector. In partnership with Barings Real Estate and Aware Super, with project management by Essence Project Management, design by Rothelowman and operations under the WeAreLiving platform, the project reflects the planning, coordination and collaboration required to bring a development of this scale to life. The ceremony marked the culmination of years of work, providing an opportunity to recognise the journey from concept to completion. Now open, WeAreLiving Preston brings 285 apartments and 7 townhouses to Melbourne's north, adding a significant new residential address to the local community.
