JOB ALERT | If you have a passion for bringing people, projects and processes together to achieve great outcomes, AND you have experience in the property or development space, your next move awaits! ✨ We're looking for a Development Facilitation Advisor to join our Strategy and Growth Group on a fixed-term basis. You'll work closely with developers, investors, stakeholders and Council teams to help facilitate development opportunities that support the growth and future wellbeing of the Kāpiti Coast. A day in the life will see you working as part of a collaborative and outcome-focused team, helping to connect the development community with Council processes, including development facilitation, fast-track resource consents, pre-application processes, and business start-up support. If that sounds good so far, we're on the lookout for someone with: 🏠 Experience or knowledge across the development lifecycle, including infrastructure, subdivision, and development projects. 🏠 Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. 🏠 Knowledge of planning and development legislation, including the Resource Management Act and Local Government Act. 🏠 Proven project management capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities. 🏠 A passion for delivering positive outcomes for current and future generations.
