AEDs save lives! Knowing where to find one could make all the difference, and it's something worth knowing before you need to. A huge shout out to Whiti Te Ra Ōtaki Sports Club Masters team for spearheading a brand-new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at Ōtaki Domain, supported by Pelorus Trust. Having more of them in the right places means that in an emergency, help is close at hand. If your club, school, or community group is thinking about installing an AED, Wellington Free Ambulance may be able to help with advice, placement, and maintenance. Council supported the installation as part of our ongoing work to grow the number of publicly accessible AEDs across the Kāpiti Coast. More AEDs = safer communities.
