🙌 Today, I want to share Alo’s fundraiser for Harvard University, someone I had the chance to support through her application process. Alo and I were at University of California, Berkeley together through the Firebaugh Scholars Research Program. She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met. Despite the odds, she keeps going. Her story truly moved me and I hope it will for you too. 🔗 Link: https://lnkd.in/eVFjMRHK 🇲🇽 Alo is a first-generation, undocumented student who worked in agricultural fields growing up while helping raise her siblings. Today, she has been accepted into Harvard, Stanford, and UC Berkeley for her Masters. Her long-term goal is to pursue law school and advocate for undocumented communities, especially agricultural workers.
