Luiss Guido Carli University made an impressive entrance to teaching the social sciences perspectives of international space activities. In cooperation with European Space Agency - ESA it is currently organising a Master course in Space Law and Geopolitics, held in its beautiful premises in Rome. I was invited to support the module on Space Governance, lecturing a full day on “Global Space Diplomacy – Traditional and Modern”. Together with the international students group from three continents, we did not only look into traditional and current topics of global space diplomacy, institutions of global space diplomacy, Europe in the global space diplomacy and the future governance of global space activities, but we also developed and applied our findings in entertaining and enlightening role plays. Congratulations to Aldo Sandulli and Ersilia Vaudo for setting up this Master course, excellently organised by Andrea Capurso and his team with special thanks to Marco Ferrazzani, the module chair, most efficiently supported by Auni Siukosaari, who invited me to be part of this inspiring event. https://lnkd.in/d_hcf3ME https://lnkd.in/ddVqzRfR Referencing leading space diplomacy theorists: Maia Keapuolani Davis Cross , Saadia Pekkanen , Jessica West, PhD , Dimitrios Stroikos , Bleddyn Bowen, Marco Aliberti; and my try with the 8th Nandasiri Jasentuliyana Keynote Lecture 2016 on “Space Law and Diplomacy” (https://lnkd.in/ehUB69nA)
