Two days, a lot of exchange, and even more new perspectives. Over the past two days, Raphael Blass from our parent company, Messe Düsseldorf, joined our Sales & Business Development team for a deep dive into the world of congresses and corporate events. What Business Development actually looks like can differ quite a bit. Even between two closely connected organizations like Düsseldorf Congress GmbH and Messe Düsseldorf, the approaches, priorities, and perspectives are not always the same. That’s exactly what makes these exchanges so valuable. They open up new ways of thinking, challenge assumptions, and create a better understanding of how we work. Especially when both companies rely on the same resources: rooms, halls, and spaces. Overlaps and conflicts aren’t always avoidable. Thank you, Raphael, for taking the initiative and stepping into the unknown. Moves like these are worth more than countless meetings and presentations. Real-life experience still beats theory.
