Berlin this week, at the 17th WELT Economic Summit 2026, the room made one thing unmistakably clear: economic competitiveness, geopolitical stability, and digital sovereignty are inseparable. 🤝 Europe is entering a decade in which credibility will be defined by capability. The ability to reform internally, act decisively externally, and remain resilient in a fragmented and fast-accelerating technological environment. For us as a cybersecurity company from Munich, the consequence is obvious. Cyber resilience is no longer a technical side issue. It is a strategic prerequisite for 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐬𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐭𝐲, and the 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞. 💯 As one industry leader noted: “In America, they innovate first and regulate later. In Europe, we often regulate first and sometimes forget to act.” Berlin and Brussels must now move 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲. Enabling action over bureaucracy. Accountability over deflection. Execution over hesitation. 🇪🇺 In the end, this decade will belong to those who do not just debate sovereignty, but who build the infrastructure and resilience to secure it.
