▶️Jury Spotlight: Dr. Markus Häfele Few professionals successfully combine legal expertise, entrepreneurial execution, and strategic business building across multiple industries; Markus Häfele is one of them. With a background spanning law, real estate, infrastructure, and consumer brands, Markus has built his career at the intersection of leadership, acquisitions, and value creation. Holding a degree in Law, a PhD, and an MBA from the ESCP Business School, he began his professional journey as an attorney before expanding into entrepreneurship and business ownership. ▶️ A Career Built on Entrepreneurship and Growth: After several years in the real estate sector, Markus successfully acquired and transformed a civil engineering and infrastructure construction company through a succession transaction, leading its further growth as Managing Partner. In parallel, he co-founded and scaled a consumer health brand in the nutritional supplements market, gaining hands-on experience in brand building, marketing, and distribution. Today, Markus is actively involved in business coaching, mentoring entrepreneurs and executives in strategy, leadership, and growth. He is also building a buy-and-build platform focused on the infrastructure and civil engineering sector, pursuing acquisitions and operational excellence to create long-term value. As an entrepreneur, investor, and operator, Markus brings a unique perspective on business model development, M&A, succession planning, and scaling companies across traditional and emerging industries.
