First highlight of 2026: a fully automated rotogravure cylinder production line goes live in South Africa. And we couldn't be prouder to be part of it. Congratulations to Digital Prepress Systems (PTY) LTD, part of First Middle East FZE, Dubai, U.A.E, on the successful installation of a complete Heliograph AUTOCON Line: Copper – Engraving – Chrome. 👉 This is full-line cylinder production at its finest, built for precision, efficiency, and scalable rotogravure cylinder production. The installation includes the latest K. Walter Q-trac automated copper surface scanning system and CYON for end-to-end production and quality control across the entire cylinder workflow. 👉 Two technologies we believe are setting a new benchmark: For the South African market as well as for the global industry. The ambition behind this project is clear: Make rotogravure printing the most competitive and attractive printing technology on the market. We believe this line is a strong statement in that direction.
