A New Era of Gravure Cylinder Proofing Starts Today! K.Walter is proud to mark a significant milestone at the 1st Heliograph Innovation Day at HELL Gravure Systems Kiel, welcoming more than 250 industry professionals, customers, and partners for a day dedicated to innovation and the future of gravure printing. As the highlight of the event, we officially launched the Q-trac Chrome with Digital Proof Station, a solution that fundamentally redefines quality control in gravure cylinder production. Rather than producing a costly and time-consuming physical proof print, the finished chrome cylinder is scanned and evaluated directly at the Digital Proof Station. The quality engineer can review the cylinder and make the final release decision entirely within a digital workflow; improving traceability, reducing proofing costs, and accelerating production cycles. ➡️ The future of proofing is a fully digital process.
