We are expanding our logistics setup in Southern Europe 🏢📦 This week, we officially laid the first stone for our upcoming Distribution Centre in Almenara, which is located in the province of Castellón in Spain — a major step in strengthening our logistics network across Southern Europe. The new, state‑of‑the‑art facility will support our growing business in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, bringing us even closer to our customers and enabling faster, more efficient deliveries across the region 🚚. As Carlos Haba Ariza, our Country Director in JYSK Spain and Portugal, said during the ceremony: “This project represents a key step in our logistics capacity and will allow us to serve our stores and online customers more efficiently. It is also a direct contribution to the economic development of Castellón, which makes us very proud.” Our new distribution centre will include two automated high-bay warehouses (46 metres high) with capacity for more than 180,000 pallets and will be capable of handling 400 incoming pallets and 400 outgoing pallets per hour. We look forward to following the construction process and to welcoming more than 250 colleagues when the Distribution Centre opens in the coming years 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️.
