♻️ Significant increase in products containing recycled polyester in our assortment At JYSK, we are working purposefully to make our products more responsible through conscious material choices. One clear result of that effort is an increased use of recycled materials across our assortment. The development is particularly evident within polyester: 🔹 Products containing recycled polyester have increased from 400 in FY22 to more than 2,100 halfway through FY26 - especially within bedding and mattresses. Our Compliance & Quality Director, Lars Ringtved Nielsen, highlights the collaboration with suppliers as essential and emphasises that this is only the beginning: “We need to be more resource efficient and use the materials we already have instead of sending them to incineration.” 🎯 The goal is clear: By the end of 2027, 50% of all articles containing polyester must consist of recycled material.
