Last week, we flew the three Justworks.org grant recipients to NYC—two from Michigan, one from Texas—to join us at our monthly All Hands meeting. Out of 400+ applications, these organizations each received a $100,000 two-year capacity grant to invest in the infrastructure behind their work: 🌍 Global Detroit — A regional economic and community development organization that creates immigrant-inclusive strategies to drive growth, revitalization, and broadly shared prosperity in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. 💪 JUST Community — A social venture building a new financial system based on trust—not a credit score—that’s investing in ambitious Black and Brown entrepreneurs in Texas. 🤝 Gratitude Network — A nonprofit accelerator on a mission to improve the lives of children and youth worldwide by accelerating the impact of social change leaders through their flagship 13-month fellowship program. These aren't grants for a single program or event. They're investments in the systems and infrastructure that enable great organizations to do their best work. We can't wait to share more of their stories over the next two years.
