💊🌟Last week’s 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐳 was truly memorable. Still energized. Still inspired. Still dancing (at least in my head). 💃 This summit was a celebration of 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐜𝐨-𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - and a clear signal for the future of biotech in Austria 🇦🇹 and Europe 🇪🇺. What stayed with me: ✨ Talks that inspired – beyond the slides 🧠 Panels that sparked real thought – and even more questions 🤝 1:1 meetings that turned into meaningful connections 🌿 Local charm – wine, nature & hospitality (thank you, ZETA) 💃 Joy, laughter, dancing – because good energy drives good outcomes. What truly moved me: the authentic 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 of Lejla Pock, Peter Llewellyn-Davies and Klaus Weinberger showing how joyful professionalism can turn 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 💡 My key takeaway: Biotech is a high-risk, high-impact industry – and real progress happens when we connect the dots across silos. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐑&𝐃 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞.💊➡️❤️ In my new role at Siemens Advanta, I reflected on how we can support this journey: 📍 End-to-end integration across the product & process lifecycle 📍 Data connectivity, contextualization & integrated IT architecture in early-stage research 📍 Simplifying systems access for CROs working across multiple tools 📍 Speeding up tech transfer – with strong data security & client confidentiality at CDMOs 📍 Co-creating smart workflows to streamline patient data entry and ease clinical studdies evaluation. When we have the courage to embrace change, new ideas, and new technologies – we can build a kind of 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡. 🚀 🙏 Thank you, Harpreet Singh for your powerful reminder of 𝐖𝐇𝐘 we do this: 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.
