The world is facing a cancer #workforce crisis, according to this new #Lancet Commission report 🌍 There's a projected shortfall of 100 million cancer care workers by 2050, which could leave patients waiting longer to be diagnosed and treated. The report serves as a wake-up call, with clear recommendations we can act on now: establishing workforce and cancer registries; expanding regional and international partnerships; investing in technology, education, and retention; and securing long-term funding.
