Who knew!? I spent the weekend photographing lunch dates. Hens who had decided the grass definitely tasted better on the other side of the fence. Fuzzy lamb twins cheek to cheek in their trough... and a pair of ladybugs out on aphid snack patrol together. Looking back through these photos, I'm realizing this little dining-with-a-friend theme says something I really love. Very little happens in isolation. We spend a lot of time celebrating individual brilliance, but most of the things I admire—in nature, organizations, and people—happen because of relationships. Apparently even the ladybugs know it's more fun to have lunch with a friend. 🐞 ❤️ 🐞 ❤️ 🐞 ❤️ 🐞 Here's to creating together... and eating together too.
