Since I had to talk quite a lot at BRYCK Startup Alliance Portfolio Day - I would like to keep this one short and sweet. Three key takeaways, all from one Startup-Mentor-Expert Team of our Accelerator: #1 🏎️ "We are accelerating not stagnating startups!" Thanks to Johannes Burgard for this quote. The context: we made a last minute adjustment and got inframind on stage. You cannot expect founders to be quick and be slow yourself. #2 ⏰ "You can learn more in 3 Months than in a whole year" - if you work with us. Luis Böttcher put into words what I am trying to preach to anybody who wants to hear it: Few people are brillaint, very few people are coachable, exceptional founders are both. #3 🤝 "Culture is critical". The face of Folef Hooft Graafland when he saw his team win on stage - priceless. As Philippa put it: you are not only pitching for capital, you are pitching to be a role model.
